The Prestbury Hoard, was found in 2004, by by Jason Scott when digging footings for a barn conversion at Prestbury, Cheshire. The hoard totalled some 1,366 coins. The hoard consisted of silver halfcrowns, shillings, groats, sixpences from the coinages of Edward VI to Charles I.
