William IV (1830-37), Gold Sovereign, 1836, second bare head right, nose points to second N in legend with flat top ear, W.W. incuse on truncation, toothed border around rim both sides.
Reverse, Crowned quartered shield of arms in frame, ANNO 1836 below, weight 7.9g (Bentley 964; Marsh 20; M.C.E.493; S.3829B). Scarce date.
