London, saltire on neck and pellets beside crown. Mascle after HENRIC and GRA, mint mark cross IIIb (apparently over-punched with C of FRANC) no mint mark on reverse, no stops, extra pellets in first and fourth angles.
With ticket written by P Alan Rayner, from 1964 and valued at £125 Peter Alan Rayner (8 December 1924 – 29 July 2007) was a British author of numismatic (coin collecting) books. He was known by his second name Alan, rather than his first to avoid confusion with Peter Seaby, also a popular author, whose family firm Rayner joined at the age of 24 courtesy of Wikipedia
