Pre-treaty period (1351-1361), ‘broken letters’, V in CIVITAS with nick in right limb, Series E, mint mark cross 2 Obverse and Reverse. Obverse, Crowned bust facing within inner circle.
Reverse, Long cross to edge of coin, 3 pellets in each central quarter within inner beaded circle, N’s of London reverse-barred. 4.69g, (S.1567; North 1163).
