Charles I (1625-49), Sixpence, Briot’s second milled issue (1638-39) mintmark anchor, crowned bust left, value behind, inner linear circles both sides,
Reverse, mintmark anchor, square topped quartered shield of arms, over long cross fourchée, 3.1g (S.2860).
Rare not to have adjustment marks on obverse, which is very normal for the type, struck on a full flan, well detailed obverse.
