Charles II (1660-85), Shilling, 1663, first draped bust variety, laureate and draped bust right, legend surrounding CAROLVS . II. DEI. GRATIA.
Reverse, crowned cruciform shields, interlinked Cs in angles, garter star at centre, date to the sides of top crown, .MAG. BR.FRA. ET.HIB. REX. Scottish and Irish shields transposed, very rare R3
(Bull 504; ESC 1024; S.3371). About VF a little weak on reverse.
