George II (1727-60), silver Halfcrown, 1741, young laureate and draped bust left, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA.
Reverse, crowned cruciform shields, roses in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, M.B.FE. ET. H. REX. F.D. B.ET. L. D. S. R. I. A. T ET. E. edge inscribed in raised letter and dated, DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. DECIMO. QVARTO (Bull 1681; ESC 600; S.3693). A small metal flaw running from bridge of nose.
