Pupienus was born 178 AD, and reigned between 22 April – 29 July 238 (with Balbinus, and in revolt against Maximinus Thrax).
Assassinated on 29 July 238 AD at Flavian Palace, Rome, Italy. Pupienus was Roman emperor with Balbinus for three months in 238 AD this was the year of the Six Emperors.
